Bridget Marzo

Bridget is a bilingual award-winning illustrator and author of around 30 picture books published in many countries.  Her most recent picture book MO’s BEST FRIEND, A STONE-AGE STORY, about how little Mo introduces the first dog into our human family, was shortlisted by the Historical Association for the Young Quills Award.

YOU, ME and OUR WHOLE WIDE WORLD (Walker Books UK 2022) explores all that we many different humans share in common, including continuing to ‘grow’ in all kinds of ways.

With these and other books like Tiz & Ott’s Big Draw she loves inspiring children to draw and empathise with characters to create stories of their own.  She also runs colour mixing and painting workshops inspired by her years teaching in art school.
