Lucy Reynolds
Lucy is a writer and book creator with a PhD in poetry from Oxford University and a deep-rooted care for nature and conservation. Her books are lyrical, bursting with facts and full of empathy, combining her love of language, poetry and the natural world, whilst celebrating each child’s uniqueness. Lucy is a natural teacher and loves bringing books to life with children (and grown ups!) from all walks of life. She also co-directs the Stepping Into Stories Kids’ Lit Fest in London each year, with Mo O’Hara and Margaret Bateson-Hill. Lucy’s books receive beautiful reviews and have been translated internationally. She has two new narrative non-fiction works publishing next year, followed by her debut historical middle grade.
When she isn’t writing, you’ll find Lucy chatting to her chickens or exploring the wilds with her young son and muddy dog.
